Maggie Schumm, MSN, FNP-BC, AE-C, graduated summa cum laude from the Alverno College School of Nursing located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She also earned Nursing Departmental honors. She has worked in various pediatric settings including Neonatal Intensive Care Units, Pediatric Intensive Care Units and Birthing Centers. Additionally, she has taught for Pikes Peak College School of Nursing as a Pediatric Clinical Adjunct Instructor. In 2015, she obtained her Master’s Degree of Nursing from the Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin, graduating magna cum laude. Previously, she worked in the newborn nurseries of Colorado Springs until joining Colorado ENT & Allergy. Maggie is a Certified Asthma Educator.
Maggie’s interests include helping both adult and pediatric patients who have been diagnosed with asthma, environmental allergies, food allergies and eczema. As an allergic asthmatic herself, she enjoys working with individuals and families, ensuring they receive quality care. She considers healthcare to be a team effort and takes great satisfaction in educating and including patients in their health care decisions. When not caring for patients, she enjoys traveling, hiking in National Parks around the country, practicing martial arts and spending time with her husband, two daughter and two sons.
